Alabama State University basketball teams will be hosting three exciting theme nights during February.
The schedule is as follows:
Feb. 7
Greek Night
Come and stomp the yard as the ASU Hornets take on Arkansas Pine Bluff in a Southwestern Athletic Conference battle at the ASU Acadome. Enjoy exciting basketball and a mini-step show at halftime of the women's game and the men's game. Come see who has the best steps on the yard and cheer on the Hornets. Members of Greek letter organizations are encouraged to wear their paraphernalia. The Lady Hornets tip off at 5 p.m. and the men start play about 7 p.m.
Feb. 14
Think Pink Night / Valentine's Night
ASU invites you to think and wear pink as the university raises awareness for the fight against breast cancer. The Hornets take on the Alabama A&M Bulldogs in a clash of mammoth proportions. Saturday, Feb. 14, bring your valentine out for a special date. The women tip off at 3 p.m. and the men take the floor at 5 p.m. Don't miss this basketball classic.
Feb. 28
Good as Gold Night / Connection Day
ASU basketball is as good as gold and we want you to show it. Wear all gold Saturday, Feb. 28, as the Hornets take on Prairie View A&M in one of the final Southwestern Athletic Conference battles of the season. It's Connection Day, so get there early for a good seat. You don't want to miss the excitement. The women tip off at 1 p.m. and the men begin at 3 p.m.
