MONTGOMERY, Ala. –The Alabama State University men's and women's basketball teams invite fans to participate in a pair of promotional nights at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome as ASU hosts a pair of key Southwestern Athletic Conference match-ups this weekend.

ASU hosts Alcorn State in a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m., followed by a Monday doubleheader against Southern that tips-off at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday's contests will be part of college basketball's “Think Pink” week sponsored by the WBCA. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and research. The teams and coaching staffs will also be wearing pink items as part of the event. In addition, the first 1,200 fans will receive a set of pink pom-poms.

Bama State has designated Monday as “Blackout Night” against the Jaguars with all fans encouraged to wear black to the game in support of the Lady Hornets and Hornets.

Tickets for all ASU home games can be purchased at the Acadome ticket office. Both the men's and women's games will also be carried live on the radio on WVAS (90.7 FM).
