Menjj Mundadi Voted Player of the Week in HSRN Fan Poll

ASU senior recognized for stellar performance
HARTLY, Del. – The results are in for the Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) Fan Poll National Player of the Week for the week of January 25 through January 31 and the winner is Alabama State University's Menji Mundadi.

Mundadi, a senior guard from Chicago, Ill., was picked the Division I men's Player of the Week in an online vote at www.HSRN.com.

For the week, Mundadi scored 44 points (22.0 ppg) leading the Hornets to an undefeated 2-0 mark.  His top performances as 29 points, three assists and two steals in the Hornets, 77-60, road win over Southern.

HSRN developed the fan poll to get all HBCU alumni, students and fans involved with the national process and to also give everyone a chance to consistently keep up with the top individual performances around the country.  Their web site and game broadcasts are designed to keep fans abreast of all action around HBCU athletic competition. 
 
Mundadi and the rest of his ASU teammates open the second half of the SWAC season this weekend with a pair of road games at Mississippi Valley State (Saturday) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Monday).
