MONTGOMERY—Hornet Stadium will be buzzing with the sounds of excited fans this weekend as the Alabama State University Athletics Department hosts Fan/Media Day for the fall sports programs.
The event starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 28. Coaches and players from the cross country, bowling, soccer, golf and football teams will be on hand to meet with the media, greet fans and sign autographs. Football schedule posters will be provided for the first 400 fans who want autographs from Coach Reggie Barlow and his Hornet swarm.
Everyone will enjoy free food and games, including an inflatable playground for the kids.
All of the day's events are free and open to the public. If it rains, the event will move over to Lockhart Gymnasium.
