Hornet Nation - you did it again, but this time, like never before. WR Nick Andrews was voted as the HSRN.com National Player of the Week by the largest margin in the history in the four-year history of the fan poll.

Andrews won with 2,004 votes, more than the other three competitors combined.  Mike German of Tennessee State (92), Travis Davidson of Morgan State (22), and Jared Green of Southern (5) rounded out the voting.

Andrews came up big again in the Hornets' 20-7 win over Prairie View A&M in a showdown of SWAC Division leaders. Andrews caught nine passes for 118 yards and one touchdown, a 34-yard reception in the second quarter. Andrews became the Hornets' all-time leader in receptions, two weeks after becoming Alabama State's career leader in receiving touchdowns.
