The Alabama State football team travels to play Texas Southern in a rematch of last season's SWAC Championship Game, while the women's soccer team plays three matches this week, including a home conference match against Jackson State. The Lady Hornets' volleyball team will play at Stillman and in the Southern Tournament this weekend, and the men's and women's cross country teams will run in the Foothills Invitational.
 
CROSS COUNTRY: Hornet teams will compete in the Foothills Invitational in Oxford, Ala.
 
FOOTBALL: The Hornets will play the first of back-to-back games against their SWAC Texas foes when they face Texas Southern Saturday.
 
SOCCER: The Lady Hornets play non-conference matches at West Alabama Wednesday and home against Southern Friday before hosting Jackson State in a SWAC match Sunday.
 
VOLLEYBALL:  Alabama State will travel to face Stillman Tuesday before competing this weekend in the Southern University Invitational.
