Caravan Kicks off in Mobile; Next Stop - Birmingham

MOBILE, Ala. - The 2011 Alabama State Football Coaches Caravan got off to a strong start Monday night at the Mobile Marriott. 

A standing-room only crowd heard from ASU Athletic Director Stacy Danley, head football coach Reggie Barlow and Associate Vice President for Development Zillah Fluker about the latest news on ASU Athletics, the football program and university programs and growth. Fans and supporters also met with Senior Associate Athletic Director Melvin Hines, assistant football coaches Antonio Bradford, Willard Scissum and Dominique Stevenson, and Director Alumni Relations Cromwell Handy. 

Tuesday, the Caravan stops in Birmingham at the downtown Sheraton Hotel in the Medical Plaza building at 6 p.m.
