Alabama State head football coach Reggie Barlow spoke to a crowd of over 500 students and administrators on how to stay active and healthy for the Fuel Up to Play 60 program at Garrett Elementary on Tuesday.  This event was held because Garrett Elementary was awarded a grant for the Physical Education Department.

“Today's event went well,” stated Barlow.  “I've been fortunate enough to be the spokesperson for the National Football League in this region.  Interacting and talking with the kids has always been a highpoint for me.”

Fuel Up to Play 60 is an interactive program that allows youth to decide how to make your school an even healthier place.  It's also your chance to make commitment to healthy eating and 60 minutes of physical activity every day.
