Championship season begins as the Alabama State cross country and soccer teams compete in the SWAC Championships to highlight This Week in ASU Athletics.
MEN'S BASKETBALL: The Hornets will play a pair of exhibition games against Huntingdon and Fort Valley State.
CROSS COUNTRY: The women's and men's cross country teams will compete in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Championship.
FOOTBALL: The Hornets travel to face Prairie View A&M in a key conference showdown.
SOCCER: The Lady Hornets will face Prairie View A&M in the opening round of the SWAC Championship.
VOLLEYBALL: Alabama State will play the first of three conference matches to end the regular season against defending champion Jackson State.
