Spring football practice moves into its second week, while the ASU baseball and softball teams continue conference play to highlight This Week in ASU Athletics.

The gridiron Hornets are scheduled to practice four times this week, including a Saturday morning scrimmage at Hornet Stadium. Practice will culminate with the annual Black and Gold Game on Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m.

The ASU baseball team, in sole possession of second place in the SWAC's Eastern Division, will play at Georgia State Wednesday before beginning the second half of conference play in a three-game series at Alabama A&M.
 
The ASU softball team will play on the road this weekend, travelling to Alcorn State for a three-game conference series.

The Hornet women's and men's outdoor track teams will return to action Saturday at the Jacksonville State Gem of the Hills Invite.
