Members of the Alabama State University football program participated in the Montgomery Area Food Bank's annual food drive Friday at the Wal-Mart location on Chantilly Parkway.
 
Head Coach Reggie Barlow, along with assistant coaches Antonio Bradford, Roy Dawkins, Shannon Harris and Tyrone Rogers, as well as players Landon Jones, T.C. McWilliams, Kejuan Riley and Brandon Slater joined with WSFA-TV Ch. 12 and Dixie Electric in collecting donated can goods, food items and financial donations for the Food Bank.
 
“Montgomery has been outstanding to me,” Barlow said. “Whenever I can come out in the community, I'm always excited about it. We have a good group of coaches and players who enjoy coming out into and giving back to the community, and it's for a good cause. There are a lot of people aren't as fortunate as we are. We believe that what you give will grow, and we wanted to come out and support this cause.”
