Saeed Lee and
Kejuan Riley have been named to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) defensive back watch list.
Lee (5-11, 170, JR, Miami, Fla.) was a 2011 second-team All-SWAC selection and a first-team Boxtorow HBCU All-America choice. He ranked second on the team and tied for ninth in the FCS in interceptions (five) with one returned for touchdown, and led the SWAC and tied for sixth in the FCS in passes defended with 16. Lee made 45 tackles (3.0 TFL) with one sack and two fumble recoveries.
Riley (6-2, 208, JR, Wetumkpa, Ala.) had career highs in tackles (75) and interceptions (nine), while tying a career-high in passes defended with 13. Riley's nine interceptions ranked second in the FCS this season and his 17 career interceptions are tied for the most in ASU history. The versatile defender also averaged 8.4 yards on 13 punt returns and 24.9 yards on seven kickoff returns. He was a first-team All-SWAC selection and a consensus All-American selection last season.
