Alabama State senior free safety
Kejuan Riley has added to his 2012 preseason honors, as he was named to the College Sporting News FCS Preseason All-American Football Team.
Riley (6-2, 208, SR, Wetumkpa, Ala.), a 2012 First-Team Preseason All-SWAC selection and an FCS Preseason All-American, was a consensus All-American selection in 2011 in earning first-team All-SWAC honors. He recorded career highs in tackles (75) and interceptions (nine), while tying a career-high in passes defended with 13. Riley's nine interceptions ranked second in the FCS this season and his 17 career interceptions are tied for the most in ASU history.
Alabama State opens fall practice Thursday at 3 p.m. at Hornet Stadium.
