The Lady Hornets' soccer team officially begins the 2012-13 Alabama State University Athletics season with a pair of matches this week, while a football scrimmage and volleyball practice highlight Saturday's Fan Fest.
 
FALL FAN FEST: A free, fun-filled, family event Saturday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Watch the football team scrimmage 9 a.m., enjoy free food and games at 11 a.m., meet the teams at Noon, get autographs at 12:30 p.m., and watch volleyball practice at 2 p.m.
 
FOOTBALL: The Hornets will have their second fall scrimmage Saturday at 9 a.m.
 
SOCCER: The Lady Hornets open their season Friday at Troy before playing their home opener Sunday vs. Huntington.
 
VOLLEYBALL:  Alabama State will have open practice for fans Saturday at 2 p.m.
