The Alabama State football and soccer teams play their home openers to highlight This Week in ASU Athletics.
CROSS COUNTRY: The Alabama State women's and men's teams will compete this week at the Auburn Invitational.
FOOTBALL: The Hornets play their home opener Saturday vs. Mississippi Valley State. It's the Blackout Game as fans are encouraged to wear all black.
GOLF: The women's and men's golf teams complete play in the ASU Fall Classic at the Robert Trent Jones Course in Prattville.
SOCCER: The Lady Hornets will play at the University of Mobile Tuesday before hosting Belmont Friday night.
VOLLEYBALL: Alabama State will play this weekend in the University of Alabama Tournament.
