Kourtney Berry and Bobby Wenzig have received Southwestern Athletic Conference Players of the Week based on their performances in the Hornets win over Stillman College in the 90^th edition of the Turkey Day Classic.

Berry was named the Newcomer of the Week after his eight-tackle performance in the win. Among his eight stops were a sack, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry. For his performance, he was named the Defensive Player of the Game.

Wenzig was perfect from the field in his kicking performance in the game. He hit both of his field goal attempts; from 19 and 26 yards, while also knocking his only point-after-touchdown attempt through the uprights.
