160 Alabama State student-athletes earned at least a 3.0 GPA during the spring semester, with 123 of them qualifying for the honor roll.
Of that total, 30 of those student-athletes attained a perfect 4.0 GPA while another 65 attained GPA's of 3.5 or better.
To be eligible for the honor roll, students must take at least 15 credit hours.
The football team had 33 members to lead all sports, while baseball had 18 players reaching the mark. The women's track/cross-country team also had 18 members; while women's soccer team had 14 members, women's volleyball team had 12 members, the women's basketball team had 10 members, and men's track had nine members; while the men's tennis and basketball teams each had seven members. The women's tennis, softball, and bowling team had six members a piece earning a 3.0 GPA for the semester.
