MONTGOMERY- Alabama State's Artrailia Lesane has been named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Outdoor Runner of the Week.
  
Lesane, a sophomore distance runner from Fayetteville, N.C. had an amazing showing at the 63rd Annual Texas Southern Relays last weekend where she won the 5,000m run in a time of 17:27.43 which currently sits her 45th on the NCAA's national list in this event. Lesane also had a sixth overall finish in the 1,500m run crossing the line in 4:41.49.
