MONTGOMERY— The Alabama State University's track and field teams will travel to two different meets this weekend, a few of ASU athletes will head up the road to Auburn to compete in the Tiger Track Classic hosted by Auburn University. The rest of the team will go over to Gainesville, Fla. to compete in the highly competive Florida Relays hosted by the University of Florida.
Both meets which are set for Friday-Saturday, April 4

th will feature a variety of teams from Harvard, Clemson, Georgia, Miami, Kentucky, Baylor, Cal, Albany State, Hampton, UAB, George Mason, Illinois, UAH, Morgan State, Jackson State, hosts Auburn and Florida and several countries Great Britain, Brazil and Saudi Arabia along with the Hornets.

"We are excited about these upcoming meets," head coach
Ritchie Beene said. "We plan for our relays to head over to the University of Florida and compete hard against some of the top teams in the nation as well as, our athletes competing at Auburn to improve on their marks and times as we move toward to the second half of the outdoor season."
The Florida Relays will begin with field events starting at 12p.m. for collegiate athletes and The Tiger Track Classic will kick off with the Hammer Throw at 2p.m.
