MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Department of Athletics at Alabama State University will host a historic announcement and will unveil its fourth straight SWAC Commissioner's Cup with a press conference on Monday, June, 19, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. The event will take place in the Club Lounge at ASU Football Stadium.
 
Members of the media, Alabama State faculty, staff, students, alumni and the Capital City community are invited to attend the event.
 
ASU Director of Athletics Melvin Hines is scheduled to speak during the announcement and make his state of the athletic department address. Also he will be available for questions immediately following the announcement.
