MONTGOMERY—The Alabama State University Hornets will hold its final scrimmage game of the preseason tomorrow at 9 a.m. at Hornets Stadium.
The scrimmage will culminate an 18-day practice schedule that included several two-a-day practices and two scrimmages.
In last week's scrimmage, the offense racked up over 330 yards and scored 24 points in 10 possessions. The defense really dominated the practice early, only allowing one touchdown over the first six possessions of the scrimmage. That includes stopping the first drive with an interception.
ASU will do film study on Sunday and will take Monday off before preparing for the season-opener against Mississippi Valley State University on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.
