Andrew Chatmon is entering his fourth year as head bowling coach at Alabama State University. He served as interim before the finish of the 2008 season and led the women’s bowling team to the SWAC tournament. The Lady Hornets would go on to finish sixth in the SWAC.

He brings 30 years of bowling experience to ASU and six years of coaching in the YABA Junior League in Montgomery.

He attended Alabama State from 1981-1985, where he majored in business management and played on ASU’s baseball team. He is a member of Phi Beta Lamda (business Fraternity), Shrine Mason and the National 10 pin Coaches Association.

A native of Baltimore, Md. Chatmon is the proud parent of three children -- Jordan, Andrew and Myles.
