Final Stats

The Alabama State Lady Hornets fell to the University of Kentucky 75-46 Friday night in the first game of a grueling 7-game road trip. Freshman guard Jasmon Hazley led ASU with 18 points. Danielle Sanders chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds.

Carly Omerod led the Wildcats with 21 points. Samantha Mahoney and Sarah Elliot joined her in double figures with 14 and 11 points respectively.

There is little rest for the weary as the Lady Hornets (3-2) travel to play the Cincinnati Bearcats on Sunday at 12 pm.
