Final Stats

Jackson, Miss. - Tennessee State 4, Alabama State 1

TSU provided their pitcher Candace Hildebrand with all of the offense they needed with a four-run third inning against ASU's Destinee Sanchez. The Tigers wrapped four singles around a double to pick up all their runs.

ASU's sole score came when Karissa Whaley tripled home Pamela Curry in the second inning. Although the Lady Hornets were able to out hit the Tigers 9-to-7, they were scattered by Hildebrand.
