“Savannah State is a well-discipline team.” Coach Freda Freeman-Jackson said. “They are very athletic, and are accustomed to playing us tough. Coach Cedric Baker has great personnel, we just have to make sure we handle what we need to on our end and expect to win.”

Alabama State has played its last two games at home marking a 2-5 record on the season.  The Lady Hornets hosted Alabama in a close game Saturday falling 64-54.  Savannah State will enter the contest 5-5 after a 41-36 win over Louisiana Lafayette.

“When we play Savannah State, we know we will have to play hard and try to make as less mistakes as possible,” Freeman-Jackson said.  “We are going to have to capitalize on their mistakes and get the win.”
