“We know it's not going to be as easy coming into Texas Southern getting the win,” said Assistant Coach
Clayton Harris. “Texas Southern is coming off a loss to Arkansas Pine-Bluff and they are hungry and now that we are playing Texas Southern at home we know that they are not going to make it easy for us to get the win tomorrow. They are playing a lot better as a team and we most certainly need to concentrate on Fleming. She's another good guard in the league that we have to play tough against.”
“We are going to have to come in tomorrow and play defense. We have been out rebounding teams and I think we are playing a lot more aggressively. We now are playing with a shorter bench so now we are going to really have players that we didn't really rely on before to most definitely step up.”
