“We had a good practice,” said Freeman-Jackson. “The team was upbeat and they shot the ball well. We practiced for an hour and a half and we didn't waste any time. We practiced with intensity and we have played well in the last couple of games.”
“Tomorrow's game is very important to us in order for us to stay in the race in order for us to win as SWAC regular season champions. Any time that you can go on the road and steal a win that speaks volume, it's going to be important for our girls because it's a different type of atmosphere when you go on the road. We are definitely going to have to play great defense, because struggling trying to score points will be really hard. We are going to have to get the ball to “Q” (
Quentori Alford) and get to the free throw line.”
