The Alabama State women's basketball team will face the Lady Panthers of Prairie View on Thursday, March 13 at 5:30 in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center.

The Lady Hornets finished the regular season with a 16-13 overall record and 9-9 conference record.  Earlier in the season the two teams split the two contests with Alabama State falling at home 67-53, before picking up a win over the Panthers on their home court 81-78.
 
"The game Thursday will determine everything that we have worked for to this point," said head coach Freda Freeman-Jackson.  "We lost six games in the first half of SWAC season and then winning the last seven games has really been motivating and a blessing for us.  I am really proud of this team and I want us to go into tomorrow's with the same momentum that we have had."
