PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas - The Alabama State men's basketball team extended its winning streak to four games with 73-68 win at Prairie View Saturday night at the William Nicks Building.

Jamel Waters scored 15 points,
Torloft Thomas 14,

A Butler layup gave the Hornets the lead for good and sparked a 21-2 run over a seven+ minute stretch that flipped a 42-41 deficit into a 62-44 lead with 9:10 remaining.
Prairie View (5-22, 5-10) cut the lead to four, 67-63, with 2:22 remaining. However, a layup by Armstrong with just under two minutes remaining sparked a 6-0 run that ended with an Armstrong dunk with 45 seconds remaining.
