HOUSTON, Texas | Alabama State and Texas Southern will meet for the third time this season and for the second time in a week, however, this time they will meet in the Toyota SWAC Basketball Tournament with a berth in the tournament semifinals on the line.
Alabama State (8-22) will travel to the city of Houston for the second time in two weeks, with the winner of the quarterfinal contest meeting the winner of the Prairie View A&M-Alcorn State game later this week.
