MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State continues Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) action when rival Alabama A&M visits Dunn-Oliver Acadome on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Hornets (9-13, 8-3 SWAC) won their fifth consecutive home game against Mississippi Valley on Saturday, 64-62, in which four Alabama State players scored in double figures.
Jayla Crawford led the team with 16 points, while
Taylor Aikerson recorded a career-high 15 points.
Ayana Emmanuel scored 13 points and
Zomoria Clark registered a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds in the win.
Alabama A&M (11-11, 6-5 SWAC) enters the game following a 60-54 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff where DeShawna Harper led the Lady Bulldogs with 18 points and Nigeria Jones finished with 16.
