MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State women's basketball will look to exact some revenge on in-state foe Alabama A&M Saturday when the Bulldogs visit the Dunn-Oliver Acadome for another installment of the long-time rivalry.

Tipoff between the Lady Hornets and the Lady Bulldogs is set for 3 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Alabama State Sports' YouTube page. The men's game will follow approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the women's.

Jayla Crawford has been on fire for Alabama State lately, scoring in double figures in nine of the last 10 SWAC contests. Crawford is averaging 13.0 points per game over that span, increasing her overall average to 11.0 points per game on the season.
 
Ayana Emmanuel been at or near the top of several statistical categories this season for ASU, leading the team in scoring (11.5 points per game), three-pointers (28) and free throws (70). Emmanuel ranks second in the SWAC making 78.7 percent of her free throw attempts.

The Bulldogs have been led by a one-woman wrecking crew in Dariauna Lewis this season. Lewis leads the conference in field goals made, field-goal percentage, points, free throw attempts and free throws made. Her 64.2 field-goal percentage ranks as the sixth best in all of Division I women's basketball.
 
Alabama A&M is 11-11 on the season and 7-4 in league play, good enough for fourth. Entering the weekend, it is a game behind Southern for third and a game and a half behind Texas Southern in second.
