MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State stayed undefeated in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play with a 4-0 victory over Mississippi Valley State at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center Wednesday afternoon.

Alabama State (5-5, 4-0 SWAC) jumped ahead early winning all three doubles matches by an identical 6-0 score to take an overall 1-0 lead in the match. The Lady Hornets finished off the match with wins in singles at number one, two and four all by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores.

Alabama State returns to action this weekend hosting the SWAC Pod, facing Alcorn State in the opening match Friday afternoon at 2 pm.
