The top team in the SWAC all season, Jackson State claimed the conference regular season title two weekends ago. After beating Alabama State Thursday, the Lady Tigers struggled in Huntsville and fell to Alabama A&M in their regular season finale.
Jackson State is led statistically by one of the better duos in the league in Dayzsha Rogan and Marneisha Hamer. Rogan averages 13.5 points per game, which is good enough for fifth in the conference; while Hamer ranks in the top six in both points and rebounds per game this season.
