Box Score LORMAN, Miss. | Jayla Crawford led four Alabama State players in double figures, leading the Lady Hornets to an 81-70 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) victory over Alcorn State Wednesday afternoon.
Crawford finished with a game-high 20 points, while
Tyesha Rudolph added 17 off the bench.
Ayana Emmanuel added 13 and
Shmya Ward 12 in the victory for Alabama State (11-2, 11-2 SWAC).
Aniyah Smith added eight for the Lady Hornets.
Meanwhile, Kirdis Clark led Alcorn State with 21 points and Nia McCalphia added 16.
Alabama State returns to action against Texas Southern on Saturday at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome. The game tips at 2 pm and will be carried by the Hornet Sports Network.
