Freda Freeman-Jackson and her Alabama State team will return to the court to face off against Arkansas Pine Bluff on Wednesday afternoon.

The Hornets were slated to return on Tuesday against Mississippi Valley State, however earned a win after the Delta Devilettes were forced to forfeit after a new rule made by the conference office. Tip-off in H.O. Clemons Arena is set for 5:30 pm.

- Alabama State last played on December 28 at Vanderbilt, as they earned a win by forfeit against Mississippi Valley State on January 3.
- The Hornets lead the series 40-10 and are looking to extend their series streak over the Golden Lions to four games, as their last loss was on January 13, 2020, in Montgomery.
- Senior guard Tyesha Rudolph (Evergreen, Ala.) was named SWAC Impact Player of the Week after her career-high 22 points against North Carolina.
- Alabama State started a different lineup in all ten non-conference games this season, with 13 different Hornets receiving a start and ten averaging at least 15 minutes per contest.
- The Hornets will have to slow down a balanced scoring attack from Arkansas-Pine Bluff, who has four starters averaging double figures, led by Zaay Green at 13.8 points along with six rebounds and five assists per contest.
