- Cordasia Harris scored 12 points, and the Hornets shot 52 percent from the floor to hold a 26-18 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- Alexys Newman's steal and layup gave the Hornets a 46-24 lead going into halftime.Â
- Alabama State shot 47 percent from the floor and outrebounded the Rams 26-16 in the first half.Â
- Jayla Crawford netted 20 points to hand the Hornets a 71-50 lead heading into the fourth quarter.Â
- The Hornets led 82-57 before 4:50 left in the game before Mobile went on a 14-0 run to cut the final deficit to 82-71
