HOW IT HAPPENEND

• Jayla Crawford ended the first with a late three-pointer that gave the Hornets the lead 10-9 in the first quarter.
• Ayana Emmanuel was responsible for nine of the Hornets 12 points and four rebounds in the first quarter.
• The Lady Hornets took advantage of the foul game converting 10-15 free-throws in the first half.
• The Lady Hornets went on an 8-0 scoring run to open the 2^nd quarter.
• Both teams went a combined 4-18 from 3pt, as the Lady Tigers carried a 25-24 halftime lead.
• Through the third quarter the game saw 10 lead changes and 6 ties.
• Emmanuel dialed up a long-range three to give the Lady Hornets a 42-39 lead with under 3:59 left in the contest.
