MONTGOMERY, Ala. |  Alabama State University women's tennis dropped a tough 4-2 SWAC tennis match to visiting Florida A&M University on Sunday at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center. 

Bea Acena/Urska Velec (ASU) def. Genesis Whitelock/Reagan Harris (FAMU) 6-2 at No. 2 doubles but the Rattlers won two-of-three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead into singles. 
 
FAMU captured wins at the number two-tour singles spots to clinch the dual match. Lizaveta Demchenko (ASU) and Bea Acena (ASU) catured wins at No. 1 and No. 5 singles for Alabama State. 

The Lady Hornets return to the courts hosting Alabama A&M at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center on Sat., March 25 at 1 p.m.
