TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M claimed a 2-0 win over Alabama State University softball in game one of a scheduled doubleheader on Saturday at the FAMU Softball Complex.
Game two was postponed with the score tied 8-8 in the bottom of the eighth inning and will resume on Sunday at 8:30 a.m.the

- Brianne Hill's sac-fly to shallow left field scored Jane'a Mobley to give the Rattlers a 1-0 lead in the fourth.
- Nyah Morgan's RBI single made the score 2-0 in the fifth.

- Ashley Pye (5-5) took the loss for Alabama State, allowing two runs on six hits with two strikeouts.
- Nadeia Zenteno (7-6) scattered four hits and struck out four over 7.0 innings to earn the complete game win.
