DALLAS, Texas --The Alabama State men's basketball team fell 101-72 to the SMU Mustangs Tuesday evening.
The Hornets (3-5) had two players score in double figures, led by Amarr Knox, who had 17 points. Shawn Fulcher tacked on 12 points off the bench and Tyler Mack added nine points and six rebounds.
Jasteven Walker pulled down three offensive rebounds to lead the ASU offense, which grabbed 12 boards and turned them into eight second-chance points.
ASU did a great job disrupting SMU shots in the contest, coming away with six blocks. Mario Andrews led the way individually for the Hornets with two rejections.
