MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State University captured four singles matches to secure 5-2 win over the University of Montevallo on Tuesday at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center. 

Alabama State won all three tennis matches to take a 1-0 lead into doubles. 

David J Grandinot, Sam Bajracharya, Matis Amier and Kristofer Johnson won their singles matches to secure the win. 

Alabama State hosts Mississippi Valley State to open replay in the SWAC Tennis Pod 1 on Saturday at 2 p.m.
