JACKSON, Miss. | Alabama State University captured a 4-0 win over Southern Unviersity for its fourth straight win on Monday at the SWAC POD II. 

The Lady Hornets have won nine of their last 10 matches to improve 10-5 overall and 7-0 in SWAC play.

Alabama State won the doubles point with wins by Madalena Andrade and Bea Acena at No. 2 doubles and  Carmelle Vial and Timothee Legaud at No. 3 doubles. 

Sahra Bouchaala, Vial, and Lagaud won their respective singles match to clinch the 4-0 victory.

Alabama State returns to action against Clark Atlanta University on Sunday, March 17 in Atlanta, Ga.
