FLORENCE, Ala. |  The Alabama State women's tennis team fell to the University of North Alabama 5-2 on Sunday at the UNA Tennis Complex.

UNA captured the double points with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 double spots to carry a 1-0 lead into singles. 

Madalena Andrade and Camelle Vial won at No. 3 and No. 5 singles for ASU's lone two wins on the day. 

Alabama State fell to 11-7 overall while UNA improved to 12-6.

The Lady Hornets have a showdown with Florida A&M  on Sunday, April 7 in Tallahassee, Fla., for the 2024 SWAC Regular Season championship.
