ATHENS, Ga. | An great season for the Alabama State University women's tennis team came to an end with a 4-0 loss to the University of Georgia nn Friday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
The Lady Hornets end the season with a 14-9 overall record and and an 8-1 SWAC mark.
ASU claimed the SWAC Regular Season and Tournament titles while five student-athletes earned All-SWAC Post Season or All-Tournament honors/
Sahra Bouchaala was named the SWAC Tournament MVP and head coach Anuke Christiansz was named the Coach of the Year.
The Bulldogs claimed the doubles point and then won at No. 5, No. 4 and No. 3 singles to clinch the match.
