BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama State University swept to Southwestern Athletic Conference's weekly bowling awards announced by the League office.

Jenna Knight was named the Bowler of the Week while freshman Taylor Lee earned Newcomer of the Week.

Knight finishe third and made All-Tournament team at the Louisiana Tech Bulldog Classic, featuring several top 25 schools. Knight rolled a 229, the highest tournament average in ASU program history.

Lee posted a 194 average to place 31^st on the weekends as all five Hornet Bowlers finished in the top 50 out of 160 bowlers.
