MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State University returned to the courts for the first time in over a week, dowing visiting Columbus State University 4-3 on Saturday at the Olean Black Underwood, Tennis Center.

Doubles wins by David J Grandinot and Matteo Lataste at the second court and  Lun Obrul and Gordan Fran Mileusni at court three gave the Hornets a 1-0 lead heading into singles. 

 Alexandre Verlaguet's win on court three clinched the win over the Cougars while Grandinot and  Lun Obrul captured wins on courts one and two.
