MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The Alabama State University women's tennis team cpatured their third win in two days with a 4-0 win over Prairie View A&M on day two of the SWAC POD II at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center on Friday.

Alabama State won its sixth straight match to improve to 9-7 overall and 6-1 in the SWAC.

Ena Arnautovic clinched the win for the Hornets with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Precious Ugochukwu on court six. Carmelle Vial and Kesmat El Tawil added wins in singles on court three and court five. 

Alabama State got doubles wins on court one and court three to secure a 1-0 lead going into singles play.

The Hornets return to the court against Grambling State at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
