About Kenderek: Kenderek is one of the players that can play multiple positions…He can play a guard position, but can also move to a forward position…He is a solid shooter and could be one of the team’s top three-point threats his senior season…He is a strong athlete that can battle down low for rebounds or can go up strong when shooting against taller opponents.
2010-11: He played in 32 games during his first season with the Hornets, including 29 starts…He was second on the team with 28 three-point field goals, hitting on 33 percent of his attempts…Was the team’s fourth leading rebounder averaging more than four per contest…Is the team’s second leading returning scorer at almost nine points per game…Scored his season and career high with 16 points against Prairie View A&M (1/29/11)…He hit 12 of his 14 free throw attempts in that game…Tied his season and career high with 16 points in ASU’s opening round win in the SWAC Tourney over Alabama A&M (3/10/11)…Had a team-high 14 points against Tulane (11/30/10) knocking down six of his 10 field goal attempts.
Junior College: Kenderek transferred to ASU after playing two years at Pearl River Junior College…He averaged 15 points and eight rebounds during his two-year career…He also received team MVP honors and was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
