Biography

at Previous School (at Texas): As a junior, played in seven games... Shot 42.9 (6-of-14) percent from the floor... Shot 28.6 (2-of-7) percent from beyond the arc... As a sophomore in 2019-20, played in 15 games (10 starts)... Averaged 4.4 points and 3.3 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per contest... Third on the team in rebounding and sixth in scoring... Did not play in the season opener vs. Northern Colorado (Nov. 5) as he was in the concussion protocol... Made his first collegiate start at No. 23/22 Purdue (Nov. 9) and responded with career high in scoring (14 points), rebounds (8), assists (4), field goals made (5-7), free throws made (3-5) and minutes (35)... Suffered a stress fracture in his back following the game at West Virginia (Jan. 20) and missed the remainder of the season... As a freshman, played in 13 games... Averaged 1.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 6.5 minutes per contest... After seeing action in just 8 regular-season contests, he played in all 5 games during the run to the NIT title... Averaged 2.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game in the five NIT contests, hitting 5-of-10 field goals, including 2-of-5 threes... High School: Played at Steele High School in Cibolo, Texas (head coach Lonny Hubbard)... Ranked as the No. 41 overall prospect in the nation by 247Sports and No. 47 by ESPN... Averaged 16.5 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game as a senior while leading Steele to a 32-3 overall record... Earned first-team all-state honors in his senior season... Averaged 19.7 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game during his junior year.
